Welp, I finally got the 9" for a friend of mines '56 done today...
I'm a bit disappointed, as it came out 3/8" too narrow (intolerabe tolerances, I guess...).
Oh well, it looks pretty good, and I'm glad to finally have it done. My "delivery service" is carting it to OK for me tommorow...
One project down, forty-three to go...
Nay!

haha, that long of an item and its only 3/8" off, with no jigs, etc used? I'd say that's damn good. I've seen "bushes" thicker than 3/8", lol

3/8!? I might have to re-think getting you to build up the hybrid 8.8, LOL!
Nice work Chris, as usual.

Chris,
Yes, and no to the rotor Q...
They are on the low end of thickness, so I had them wheel-a-brated (steel shot). That's what gave it the funky rusty color (besides being rusty, LOL!). I then masked and painted the hats and rotor edges...
It may not last for long, but I had to do something, LOL!

ahh. in the pic the rotors looked painted, I was just thinking of how nice that would smell the first time you drove it, and how long it would take before it jacked something up.
