Hey all,
I have incorporated a Timeslip Database feature developed by EvilLS1 from www.modernmusclecars.net. Use this to keep up to date on the vehicle times of the other members of the site! The link is up top in the navigation bar.
One thing that isn't clear on the page, that I will clear up here.... PLEASE PUT THE YEAR AND MODEL OF CAR IN THE PROFILE. Not the year only, not the make only, but the year and model. It'll make it a ton better when sorting the list. Example: "1991 Mustang" (without quotes)
Also, another thing that isn't clear... if you need to EDIT your vehicle profile, go to the user cp link in the navigation bar. There will be a link to "edit your vehicle profile" on the menu to the left once you click the User CP link.
Let me know what you all think!
Regards,
Shaggy

Is it normal for the information (that I input) to not show up immediately? Or should I get Shaggles to help me?

Yeah you need to hurry up and post. That way I won't be the slowest on the list.

Yeah! I'm on the top for now. I'll find the timeslip and scan it one of these days. That pass was at FFW Houston. The 1/8 mile is wrong for that pass, but I'd rather put what the car actually ran 1/4 mile as its best. If I converted the 1/8 mile time to 1/4 mile it would probably be a 10.48 around 127mph (6.68*1.57=10.48). Unfortunately that motor is toast now!

Do we have to post for cars that we currently own? As some of you know I had a tube chassis falcon for a while.

Use data from an ACTUAL TIMESLIP. Don't use your best 1/4 mile and your best 1/8th mile, if they were on diff passes, and don't use a 1/8th mile ET and "convert" for the 1/4mile ET. DON'T FUDGE the numbers. This isn't for a prize, so just put down the honest numbers for others to see.
As far as what timeslip you put... that's up to you guys. I would "like" to see it as the most recent "best", but it's totally up to you folks. All I ask is that the slip data be real, and not a mix of bests from diff passes or conversions.
Regards!

That'd be funny if it weren't so true. I still believe you've got a sneak-pete in your car. :racing:

Fred, I guess I'm a dummy, but, I tried to put my stuff up there, typed everything in, uploaded timeslip, and accepted changes, but it doesn't show when I view the timeslip page?

Ps: I'll check back later, gonna go watch my recording of todays busch race.

A few others in this thread had this problem. The default listing is sorted by 1/4mile ET. Since you didn't enter one, you don't show up. If you sort by 1/8th mile ET or if you enter 99.99 @ 99.99 as your ET/MPH for the 1/4, you'll show up. I just sorted by 1/8th mile and you show up.
Sorry it's like this. When I have time, I might email the guy who did the code and see if we can do anything about it.
