John Malkovich has joined the cast of The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy as religious cult leader called Humma Kavula

THAT will be interesting! Let's hope it doesn't suck!

Figured you'd be interested. ;)

I think Ken and I are the only Douglas Adams fans on the website. :) Of course, any fans are welcome to chime in.

Well, I learned my lesson.

I ain't gonna be pushing no buttons that say not to push it.

I'd like to apologize to the entire human race.

Believe it or not, I just reread the trilogy a few weeks ago. Still need to finish "Mostly Harmless". Actually am quite interested in the physics of both the improbablility and the Bistromathics drive systems. I think I can use the basic premise of the infinite improbablity drive to finish my projects. It is an infinite improbablility I won't finish my car projects so it must be finitely probable. I was also thinking of applying Bistromathics to the costs of the projects.

I also know a few people I would like to get on an ark ship by telling them the planet will be eaten by a mutant star goat.

You could turn into a penguin -- is your garage improbability-proof? Would a finished car be normality or not? Oh, and be careful of spontaneous massive existence failure.

I need to dust off my CDs and give them another whirl. It's pretty neat when you have Douglas Adams himself as the narrator.

Have you read Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency? If so, what'd you think? I'm watching an auction for Mostly Harmless on cassette.

I read both the Dirk Gently books. Not as good as the first 3 hitch-hiker books. I do love Douglas Adams explanations of physical science - he almost makes it believable.

I like the somebody Else's Problem Field.

Oh yeah, he is great. What I would give for 1/300th of his wit. :) Do you like Richard Feynman?
