... a respectable yet affordable machine shop on the south side of Houston? I'm going to need a crank turned shortly, get my block cleaned and get 2 bolts extracted.

(picky miserly type here... get used to it.. I'm a tightwad..)

i dont know where they are, but from what ive heard westside machine is pretty good.

another is motorhead. my dad was tellin me that when he lived here in houston he took all his shit there. i think they are over here in tha sugarland area.... :)

Thanks for all the responses - the place I went to for the rebuild kit had cranks already turned in stock, I traded in the one I bought earlier today and got it for a $38 turning fee.
