i was just served a notice of trespass from 107 fry street, for talking to my friend who lives there.

goin to get a beer, see 2 of my friends on the front steps of there apartment so me and my friend jason go over to talk to them, leave there and walk back across the street to hit the beer store and get mobbed by 2 cops, they run me and jasons id's and take jason to jail for trespass of 107 fry, they let me go. i walk back across the street to talk to my friends about the bullshit that just happend and the fucking pig follows me and writes me a notice of trespass from the same place, so i cant go over to my friends apartment without fear of going to fucking jail.

Sounds like a bullshit ticket to me...time to talk to the Judge or even better yet a lawyer!

The problem with lawyers is that they cost money. I'm sure you can get out of the ticket, just be sure you either bring your friends to court or have them complete an affidavit (sp). The more witnesses you can come up with that will support your story the better.

You may also want to think about contacting the owner of 107 Fry St and see if they have a standing trespassing complaint with the police. Typically the only way a cop can issue this type of citation is if someone complained. From what you've told me of Fry street (Bars, street venders, etc) I could see somone who's not into the scene calling the cops with a complaint.

Welcome to the joys of being in your early 20s. Cops tend to come down on "kids" a lot harder than us older folk :)
