Got a little bit of a predicament here at work......LOL

We have a big stainless steel "dishwasher" (for lack of a better term). It's a large dental instrument washer that has a central chamber made of stainless. Our job is to remove this piece of junk to make way for it's replacement....

However, the unit was installed and then the Dental Clinic was built around it! LOL So, the chamber itself is quite a bit wider than any door we could use to remove it. Bottom line: We need to cut this bastard in half. :)

Fortunately, the stainless isn't too terribly thick, but I don't see a hacksaw working very well..LOL What would you guys use? Air Chisel, Air Nibbler, Air Shears, Hack Saw, Recip Saw, Circular Saw, or a butter knife?

Any other suggestions? We are obviously not looking for a pretty cut...more along the lines of complete destruction...LOL

Thanks folks

If you don't have a plasma, the easiest/quickest would be a Sawzall w/a metal cuttung blade, IMHO...

Niblers/shears would work, but through stainless, that would be rough (depending on grade)...

Too bad you have to cut it up; might make a good parts washer basin!

Nay!

Hey red when ya'll get it out let me know I wouldn't mind dropping by to pick up the remnant it sounds as if there will be plenty of pieces afterwards that are still large enough to use I agree with nay with one exception if no plasma then the Blue tool work well too if you have a big enough tip on it. barring that get SEVAREL blades and start sawzalling.
