It was an early 90's vert, but I had a passenger and about 75 pounds of tools in my car so I would call the weight disadvantage even. We took off from a light even, no big launches but it was clear we both wanted to be in front. I had him by 3/4 of a car "length" when I shifted into third but had to let off so I could make my turn. Chalk one up for the good guys!
