How stupid do you think we are?
Senasa claims that the recent mutilations of cattle and horses along the Argentine countryside were the work of rodents not extraterrestrials as some farmers feared.
The farmers had reportedly seen weird lights from UFOs in the sky just prior to the discovery of the mutilated cows.
It is unclear how the rats caused the mysterious lights to appear in the sky but if they can remove all of a cows innards from a small incision on the cows ass then I am not going to put anything past them.
Mutilated isn't exactly the word I would like to use to describe the condition of the cows they found. It gives the impression that these cows and horses were torn to pieces. Like if I said that "the police discovered a mutilated corpse in the alley and immediately recognized it as the work of Jack the Ripper" you would instantly think of something being torn apart.
These cows weren't torn apart.
That is why the case was so strange.
In fact, the dozens of cows that were found last week were found with all of the blood in their bodies completely drained, strange markings on their hooves and that all of their innards had been removed from a small incision near the cow's ass.
None of the meat from the cows was even touched.
So technically they were mutilated but there has to be a better word to use…
The incident was so bizarre that the Argentinean national food and health inspection service Senasa actually sent people down to take samples and look at these cows to try to find a scientific explanation for what happened.
What they came up with was that Rats did it.
I don't know what is more frightening, the fact that aliens are coming to earth and totally fucking up all of your cows or that these aliens have so throughouly infiltrated your national food and health department that they can send out one memo around the office and suddently the blame shifts to big rats.
At the time the justifiably frightened farmers thought that by pointing out to the scientists from Senasa that the meat was completely untouched this would lay rest to possible claims that wild dogs were responsible.
But in the end, despite farmers claiming to have seen bright lights and UFOs in the area where these cows were mutilated that testimony was ignored for the "rats must've did it" explanation.
Oh yeah and those lights --- those were weather balloons.
Senasa says that the cows died from common infections and wild animals later mutilated the corpses.
Although the explanation Senasa gave will no doubt satisfy those who think that alien experiments aren't going on in rural countryside's all over the world, the Senasa explanation doesn't even address how some of the animals had circles drawn into their hooves, why some of the animals were surrounded by charred grass and how they all had small burn markings on their asses from where all of the innards had been removed.
