1/4 mile times question???

if the car runs 6.50 in the 1/8, will it be able to hit 9.8's in the 1/4 and what approximate mph???

Looks like it would take a 6.4 or so to get into the 9's based on the chart, but it's all about the car. My car for instance has made several 6.9 passes but has never been in the 10's in the quarter mile. Just remember that every car is different and you won't know till you try.

i'm just trying verify someone who says they ran 9.8 in the 1/4 and 6.5 in the 1/8....

If it's a blower or turbo car that comes on like gangbusters at the top end sure it's possible.

After looking back at many of my time slips, that graph is pretty damn close. Many of my 1/8 and 1/4 times for past and current combo's are very similar. Keep in mind, though, that my car is N/A.
