figure ill give it one more try....anyone on here know of a shop looking for some cheap help in the form of a "porter" parts getter, washing cars, moving cars around all that good shit.... note yes i am a chick this has proved to be a problem at some shops .... im good for part or full time ill take whatever i can get!!!!

Hmm....have you tried being a driver for a parts house? Once you get in there and deliver to a few spots that recognize you and know that you know your shhhtuff, they may remember you when they do need someone.

I know it's not what your wanting right now, but it might lead you to it (ask Shane about 'networking' - never mind - ask someone else about networking)?

hahahhaa i actually went into a shop today and the guy said they werent hiring but to try excel parts same shit i thinks its a great idea only problem do i have to use my car??? it is a total piece and im not sure it can take that much daily driving after 15 miles it starts to get tired:ashamed:

Most parts houses I've seen have their own trucks, aka O'Reilly, Napa, Cheif, AutoZone, etc. If you were to go to a mom and pop store, it might not work out so good.

I'm also pretty sure you have to have a clean (squeaky) driving record to be considered.

i was wondering where youve been kat. you quit er something? i wouldnt mind getting another parttime job at a shop too. its nice to have a lift to work on your shit whenever you want to. =)

lol last post. just as a warning is you see a shop called "jari auto and air" on hillcroft RUN! do not pass go. do not apply for job. go directly in opposite direction. =)

hmm how good of a driving record.....i had two fender benders but that was 3 years ago right after i got my lisence and i got a faliure to stop and a speeding in the past year hmmm well it wont hurt to try .....ill wear a tight shirt:p
