View Full Version : My, paint prices have gone up...

Well, as some of you know, some degenerate decided to back into the Taurus one day here at work and drive off last fall. They left me with a scraped up bumper and a ventilated taillight panel...

I've been looking off and on for a replacement panel for the last few months, and stumbled upon one last week. I secured the replacement, and went paing shopping today at lunch...

Holy cow! I was prepared to pay a premium for red, but a single quart of red was $71.35, LOL! Add $20.64 for the catalyst, and $7.59 for tax, and I have $99.58 in one quart of paint, LOL!

I'm going to get this thing fixed, and sell it ASAP...anybody interested?

there is a place on richmond J&J or J&S i think its J&J paint and body i hit a guys truck and called all over looking for quotes they were recomended by another shop and were by far the nicest and most resonable.. lucky for me though some good old meguirs paint cleaner fixed up the scratches and the paint my car left see im a nice a girl i hit him and left a note with name and number boy oh boy he was hottie too!!!!

Haha, uhm no. SCRAPE! as in hit.

And don't get any ideas when you come to my house next week...especially since I won't be there! There's so much crap in the garage that I don't think you could get to it anyway :).

fuck off james... i already called all tha good stuff, that is anything that werks or will take minimal werk to fix.... but im sure i could sell you alot of tha stuff fer a small fee..... say.... a holley systeMAX II kit and a rebuild kit? :)

Haha...you guys are funny! ;)

You won't be able to get to the car without killing yourself, trust me ;). I might see if my boss will let me take off early just so I can meet you. Besides, any time I can get off work is a bonus!
