rear end thread con't

Well my brother thinks that he found the problem, the shock on the drivers side appears to be leaking some fluid, he thinks the shock mount may also be bad? Now yesterday after a long trip, the rear end was making a new noise, very scary noise. Rear ends felt sorta....uh....ratchety I guess, someone told me it was a lack of friction modifier in the rear end?

Have you replaced the shock to see if it fixed it? You can get a cheap-o ($20) at an auto parts store. If it fixes it, you can take it back and get a real one (argh argh argh). :D

Doing it this weekend, I park my car on the street in front of my house, have to wait til I can use my parents driveway at their house.
