Headers on an SN95

I've been trying to get Houston Performance to order me a set of MAC LT Headers for over a month now. Before I give up on them totally, I'd like to verify something. Steve said if I'm using the McLeod scattershield, then I should use automatic style headers. I had heard that I would need to do some grinding with the regular manual trans headers, but I've not heard of anyone using automatic headers with manual trans. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I can confirm that the LT's for a standard will not fit without grinding the bell have heard the auto's will but can't say for sure.
