The May CCB is upon us, one week after Fun Ford Houston. For those who dont know, it's a bracket racing event between different groups of car enthusiasts, for points. It's a season long event, with a final winner being determined. We are currently in 5th place out of 16 clubs.
We usually caravan on out to the track, so if you'd like to go and dont know how to get there, let us know and we can find a place to meet.
If you need more info, give a reply to this post!
Hope to see everyone out there, it's a GREAT TIME (plus, my bday is the day before, so it gives another reason to party!)
Regards,

You know I'll be there!
Hopefully I get the same sort of traction I had last time and be competitive again. :D
'Course, I can count on Shane to remind me if I'm not :p

That sort of discussion is not appropriate for this section of the forums, Bubba. :D

/me already has "10.0" written on windshield and a shoe-polish stripe on the tire and rim to make sure I'm not spinning my good tire on the rim (hey! it could happen!).

I was hoping to make it to this one, but as I haven't replaced my trans yet, I'm not racing anywhere :).
Maybe I'll be doing the replacement this weekend and can be ready for the next one!
Good luck to everyone!

I just found out the youngun has his baseball trophy party at 1:00 on Clay Rd.
I may be a little late showing up but should make it for the elims @ 3:30. I should get one run in but if not, I already know my dial-in (hide the wife and kids, it's 10.0 seconds of the most ground-pounding, earth-shakingest 1/8th mile fervor any human being could be expected to withstand). :D

what are the requirements? just a helment? What type of helment do I need and where to get one quick?

They are very lax on safety.... you can probably get by without the helmet. I would say you could borrow my spare, but I just sold it to Robert, lol.
They are lax though, so I wouldn't worry about it. However, I'd try to get one if you can, just for your own safety, in case the worse case scenario happened.
