One of the Westside members suggested an ideal that they used in model airplane racing.

Have a trophy class that means once you win a trophy at CCB, you need to move up to the trophy class with other trophy winners. This would help keep the newbies competitve and perhaps mix things up a little next year. I figure at least put all the CCB trophy winners from this year into the trophy class for the 1st race.

Some issues we would have to figure out first, is potentially less than 32 cars in the trophy class at the 1st race, that race would be 1 or 2 rounds shorter than the main eliminator. 2nd, would there be any benifit to running the trophy class? Perhaps 15 points per round? That might help draw non trophy winners to compete in the trophy class. 3rd, what happens if you loose the 1st round of trophy class. Allow that person to go back to the consolation race, but not earn any points?

How does this sound to everyone? Would it make points totalling a nightmare?

Pardon my ignorance, but what is the Trophy class?

You've been pardoned :p

What we are suggesting is starting a class at CCB that people who have already won a CCB trophy must race in. That way, the same people don't keep winning the every CCB main eliminator.

Oh, I was under the impression the class existed. :) Fred actually explained it to me also. Thanks.

I don't got o CCB often enough to really have an opinion!

Rude. :p I have to say, once I'm there, it's always a blast - but the drive is insane!

Put up your dukes. :P

I understand the drive is long - but not nearly as far as Ennis or San Antonio. I could understand not making either one of those drives once a month. But taking 1/30th out of a month to make a drive out to Sealy and race and to have fun with friends isn't too much to ask, is it?

We miss you when you're not there, Buggy. :(

The lack of PoMoFo attendance and interest inherently begins to dishearten those who DO attend and who look forward to having a good time with the rest of the guys - enjoying time together and doing something we all have an interest in.

The die-hards will continue to race for PoMoFo every month (when it's practical), but a better showing by other members would make the experience a lot sweeter.

Again, all who don't show up are missed.

Love ya, Buggy. ;)
