How to Get EGG off my paint!?!?!?

I'll start by saying this weekend has not been "my best" weekend.

How the heck do you get egg off of a beautiful true blue paint job? Apparently someone decided to toss a couple eggs at the 250 last night. I washed it pretty good and looked like I got most of it off, but only the daylight will tell tomorrow. I figure I'm going to have to buff some of it out. Does anyone have any experience with this?

From a yahoo search I found the following:

"...use a solution of 50% water and 50% vinegar and soak the egg as much as possible. It should bring it off. It should not affect the paint, however all paint is different. Use a little of the solution on an area of paint under the hood or in the trunk. Leave it to dry for a day or two and see if it damages the paint."

I don't know who I pissed off. I thought it might be my neighbor across the street that I had to call the sheriff on for threatening my wife (long story), but he got egged also. So that kind of gives him a bit of an alibi. We have had some vandalism in the area recently and I have a feeling it was just random acts. I talked to about 10 surround neighbors today and a few of us are installing cameras. If someone is going to mess with my crap they better smile for the camera.
