I guess this is the correct place to post this.

I have been quite un-satisfied with the current dashboard in the car. Here is what it looks like.

Please feel free to make any suggestions or cool ideas that would make the dash look a little different than the usual. Here is what I have to start with.

I know you don't want to hear this, but I like the one you
currently have in there.

I couldn't tell if the center gauges were angled towards the driver
seat or not, but that'd be my only suggestion.

That and remove the black paint and brush the aluminum.

Sell the other dash on ebay for a thousand dollars + another
four hundred for shipping and handling (or is that where you
got and and what you paid for it? )

I'm pretty sure whatever you decide to do will look fine -
'much like that of El Suave's buttock hairs waving to and fro
brought upon by the Autumn breeze and lighted by that of
the full Harvest moon. Chesz, I know. Eet is though you are
weeth El Suave now.'

Put your Tach, shift light and important gauges in the pod in front of you. If you can reach the center pod from your seat, put the switch panel, rpm switches, minor guages, etc there. Then PMFR sticker in the RHS pod.

El Suave's buttock hairs
I'm just going to throw out all my Sauve brand shampoo.

You are right pRick, I don't want to hear that!! I had them with the brushed look. The paint looks better in person than in the pics.

I like the idea of putting the tach and such in front of me. The switch panel is mounted in the middle of the windsheild bar overhead.

Good ideas fellas....keep em coming.

I second the decal idea on the right airbag cover plate. :blue:

I like this idea. A quick glance in one direction would have all of your vitals right in front of your eyes. I used to have gauges in the center/radio area and I hated it. I'll be moving them when I get the car back together.

One question...all that trouble to lighten her up and you leave the tar paper insulation? :D Get to work man...my daily driver didn't even have that much insulation. :D

I'd do something like this, only with more switches and lights!

I never thought of Troy as Jackie Chan.

Remember the Cannonball Run.

OK so it's an inside joke for old people
