worst I ever did were SuperComps in a 69 Mustang w/ an FE big block...
strut towers suck...

I remember custom making some headers for a 351w pinto. I machined the plates and we used welding wire to lay out the route for the tubes and had a shop bend them to match. We welded them all up and they worked great.
Amen brother! Any headers on a big block 69-70 mustang are pretty bad.

Actually big block headers for the 64-68 are just a little worse if you can believe it the actually did widen the towers just a bit in 69 with the bodystyle change. But I agree any big block with Fords eaply model strut towers dioes suck big kahoneys.

I bet headers in a 64-66 big block mustang are a real biotch considering they'd occupy the same space as the shock towers.:p
