For those that dont know....

car was parked at in-laws Sunday while we visited with them...

somebody hit it and left.

thats now the 6th thing that's happened to it since it was repainted. There are scratches all over it in other places, due to people not caring about my shit. Kids playing around the car left a nice 18" scratch on the door. Another scratch miraculously appeared on the door as well. Unloading the car off Brent's trailer last Ennis FFW, I fucked up the bumper cover, due to unloading it at the wrong angle I guess. My mom has rearended the car countless times. I guess instead of stopping on her own when pulling into the driveway, she uses my car to let her know when to stop, kinda like one of those concrete things in parking lots. When I get mad and tell her what she's been doing, not even an apology from her. Nice huh? She also insists on my nephews bike being parked in teh garage with my car. I tell him to be SUPER careful getting it out around my car b/c he and his friends have already scratched it once. Well, come back from my honeymoon, and what do I find? A nice 8" scratch on the rear 1/4 panel above the gas filler door, the same height as a handlebar brake lever. Guess what side the bike was parked on? My mom claims she was the one who got his bike in and out of the garage, for him, while we were gone. Actually, after the way she reacted about rearending my car more than once, that wouldn't surprise me if it was HER who scratched it. Again, not one offer of "sorry", or anything.

Now some other fuck decides to back into my car and leave, not giving a shit about the time and effort I've put into my car to have it look nice. I put money into it, just so others can fuck it up.

Im tired of it. The car can sit in the garage and rot. I will bring it out for CCB once a month. Other than that, fuck it, Im tired of doing all kinds of stuff to it / for it, just to have someone else not give a shit and fuck it up.

exactly why my car has a $200 paint job. i once found a neighbors kid beating the hell out of my fender lip with a stick. yep , took all of the paint off. the dad found me yelling at him for it. the dad drags the kid in the house , but never said anything too me about it. no "sorry" or an offer for repair, nothing.

Shit, Fred.

Sorry to hear about that. 'Wish I could say more - but "I feel your pain". Been there.

I am really sorry, Fred. That is totally shitty of someone to do - it is amazing to me how some people just don't give a shit about someone else's possessions..

...and like Rick, I have been there and done that too... I had an ex b/f wreck my 89 GT and then try to hide it from me and then had the BALLS to lie about it when I saw the damage... Then there was the 93 Cobra that was stolen, stripped and then set on fire. It was barely 8 months old... I could have dealt with the Cobra being stolen and parts being taken off... The part that really got to me is that the son of a bitch set it on fire... If it wasn't made of steel, it melted. It was such a sad sight. To this day, I still think about hunting that person down and setting their Mustang on fire... (and yes I know who was involved in stealing my car...)

I feel your pain Fred - very much so.

Hey if you need another kid there I got a two year old who is pretty good with a rubber hammer. Done wonders with my door. He was just banging away at it with the wife out in the yard. She thought he was hitting the cabinets.

Really sucks. Sorry to see it happen to your nice car.

dude that sucks. Unfortunately to most people cars are just cars. They don't think of them the way we do. An investment, a project, a passion, something that says who you are. It's like, if you have a piece of crap car that you don't care about, it doesn't mean other people feel the same. I hate inconsiderate people. I have this problem with kicking people's doors in when they feel the need to damage/park too close to my car.......

I seem to have that affliction also! LOL If I find a ding on my door....they get a foot-sized "ding"...no questions asked.

Sorry to hear Fred....hopefully things will get better. It sucks that you put the car in the garage so it's "protected", yet that's where the damage occurs. Maybe build Brandon a little shed in the backyard for him to keep his stuff in? That way the garage is truly yours.

It's ppl like that that has caused me to be paranoid everytime I pull the car out of the garage.

That sucks Fred.

Dayum. That really sucks dude. Sorry to hear about it. I'm pretty anal about my car, just like the rest of us, but yet the dings and scratches still happen. :(
