Okay, well, as everyone knows my car is finally done! :)
We started out the day with a 12.8@83 (Fred made this pass to check out the wideband) - running pretty rich 10.5:1. After that, he made a run and manually shifted it, and ran a 12.7@85. After this, Fred changed the timing curve, but he left the WOT fuel alone - I ran a 12.5@107 - the a/f ratio was still 10.5:1. Once Fred and Ben were able to get into an 11.7:1, they left it alone. My best of the evening was a 12.204@108, that was also my best 1/8th at 7.724 and my 60' was 1.65. :) I was a total doofus when it came to staging, but by the end of the evening, I was doing pretty well! I keep rolling through my burnouts, so that's a bummer. My last pass was a 12.228@112 with a 1.84 60' and I spun pretty bad. I could hear the screeching through that bulky ass helmet! I tried to get one more pass in with the car running under 180 degrees, but the staging lanes were closed by that time. Sucks! I really wanted to see if I could squeeze out a 12.1 :)
I wanted Darrell to make a pass in it, since he's helped with alot of the wiring, but unfortunately, the staging guy was suspicious of the whole Fred running it then me thing. So that was a bummer.
Anyway, I had a blast! I love it. She still has alot more in her, this is going to be SO much fun! :)

Can I borrow it for a weekend? *wink*
Seriously, that is way too awesome - I am glad to hear you did so well! Next time out you'll get that 12.1 !!
Congrats :)

Used to be as long as they signed the tech card for the car they could run it. I've never had a problem tuning and having Ruby run the car.

Nice Job Christina, those are damn good numbers for the first trip out. 112mph is good enough for a high 11 in an auto car, so get those tires to hook that low 1.6 sixty foot and you'll have it! How much gas was in the car? Did you guys weigh it? how much boost?
I'll run you, me on motor and you with your blower!

I DO believe you've been called out, Cristina!
I'm calling you out too, Carl! Me on dope and the move against your all motor and vacuum leak.
We can race whenever both our cars are running! :p

Shoot, you on dope, you crazy man! You've got the same motor I do and a car that probably weighs the same if not less. My car is 3200 with me and only dyno'd 319 to the wheels on motor. Sure I'm going to pick up a little after the rebuild, but not enough to run you motor on dope and my block won't take more than maybe a 100 shot of giggle juice.

So in other words, you only call out cars you know you'll beat? :blue:
The car was 3356 with her in it, a lot of gas, no spare tire or speaker boxes. The car as a wussy VB in it (will be replaced), a 4.10 gear (will be replaced b/c we were goin through traps at 6100-6200 rpm, way too high for that combo), and stock struts and front swaybar (have 90/10's to put on and remove front bar).
Those things alone should get her into the 11's. We're gonna tune it for consistent 12.0's though. She's a pretty consistent driver.

I'll run you, Carl :) I'll let you know when we go to HRP - which will be after changes since we know how she runs as she sits now.
You'll beat me! But I'll run you :-P

No, I just figure heads up motor on motor it should be a good race, since we're both running 347's. I don't know what heads and intake Rick is running, but he is probably lighter weight than I am too. Him on gas, I'd probably have no chance with me on motor.
With the 90/10s and no sway bar, that car will hook and book. If it cut a 1.65 in current condition, 1.5s are in the future. My car only went 11.84 in this heat on motor, but I expect to improve upon that when its back together.
