Just wanted to say Hi. I've been in Houston for about a year, but I just want to get to know more car people around here. Here's a pic of the little coupe.(sorry it's big)

Welcome to the site Nate! I'm semi-local to you, living in Alvin. Been here about twelve years and still not used to the humidity...
If I ever get my '91 LX hatch running again, I plan to make it down to the Angleton track from time to time. Here's what my piles look like:

Hope to see you around!

Is the Angelton track new? I haven't been to any tracks down here. BTW the hatch looks nice

Nate,
The Angleton tarck opened about three weeks ago: http://www.angletondragway.com/index.htm
HRP (Houston) is about an hour (~50 miles) from Alvin. SCCA runs Solo II events the first weekend of every month at the dogtrack in LaMarque (about twenty minutes from me, off of 45). The CCB everybody is yapping is out in Sealy, about an hour and 40 for me...
I see you are going to UTI; cool! I'm getting up there in years, but I've thought about WyoTech a number of times, but always balk.
If you're in or near Alvin on a weekend, make sure to drop by; I usually have a long list of stuff going on, LOL!
O!
Cool, yea I'm almost done with school, its a pretty good school.
I've been to HRP it's not too bad of a drive. Once I get my clutch and some other stuff sorted out I might go out to Angelton.
