The monday evening teardown, more pics

Here's some pics of Monday night. Didn't get to do anything with it last night, though I did pressure wash the inside of the engine bay. I didn't know that there was supposed to be white paint in there under all that grease! The power steering assembly and K-member are now visible!

How about a before/after engine bay shot?!

I was shocked how dirty mine when I pulled the motor.

My k-member didn't come out as clean as yours, but the steering rack did. I don't have an after picture, but here's the before.

No, the Walmart generic brand of carb cleaner. Otis turned me on to it.. That stuff works great, doesn't burn your hands, and is less than $1/can!

I did paint parts of the firewall with some touch up paint, but I didn't paint the whole engine bay.

He has box stock Twisted Wedge heads.

Here's an after pressure washing engine bay picture. The main thing that was cleaned up is the K-member and steering rack. I couldn't concentrate much on other areas due to all the wiring in the way.
