Okay, so there I was, minding my own damn bidniz
surfing bestiality sites, when my home page
was hijacked by one of those pop-up barrages!
NP.... so I *think*. I go through the 'normal method
of re-setting the home page (back to yahoo.com),
when I notice the option to change it has been
grayed out! (Fother Muckers!!!!)
SpyBot nor SpyBlaster programs found the culprit.
I thought I'd venture into the registry (scary thought
isn't it?) to change it. No luck (limited by brain power
and kahunas).
Anyway, after I STFI (look it up), I came across a couple of
programs, one to allow *UNLOCKING* the homepage change
option and the other to LOCK the homepage (to prevent
it from happening again). They are both in a zip file and are
located in the link below - if anyone gives a rat's dropping.
