Finally did something to it, and put a Turbo XS manual boost controller on it and it picked it up a bunch, even set at 15lbs of boost. (It made about 13-14 stock) Thats the only mod. Thinking about wrapping it in vinyl stickers and see if it will drop another second or two off my ETs... :trout: That and yanking ALL the interior out of it. (Full weight over 1/2 tank of gas and spare tire even still in the trunk)
1.851 60' (Prev best 1.95)
8.859@76.37 1/8th (Prev best 9.267@73.62)
11.461@86.73 1000ft (Prev best 11.958@84.17)
and for anybody that would look at this and is interested, the track is 1000' length (yes, only in arkansas, and south missouri)
Just so you guys know I dont beat on the Lightning EVERY weekend. I gave it some time off last night at the track.

real nice times. the clash event had a guy running his wrx in the true street 14.00 index. your car runs well enough for the 13.00 index. 1.85 60' the power of all wheel drive.

Frank,
Congrats! Sounds like it's running pretty strong. Also, it's now official that your WRX would whoop my Mustang's ass :(
Whatever happened with the flooding incident? Did that WRX get totalled and this is a new one? Or did the insurance decide to fix it?
Keep in touch...!

D, actually took it to a couple shops and they inspected and said there was no damage. The ticking from the engine was the valves that a new one made, just the same. Just never really noticed it until the incident. Friend of mine said he wouldnt even change the oil in it, said it was fine. With my $500ded, I either wanted it totalled or nothing to happen to it.
Not bad times for a 4 cyl car with 7000 miles and a $70 mod :D

What are we doin wrong then? My friends 02 WRX has only went like 14.8s in perfect conditions. Thats icing the intercooler, and using a turbo timer. Maybe you got a factory freak? Or me and him cant drive? lol

How are you launching it? That took me a long time to figure out, but once I did, its the easiest thing to do...
