I no longer have the Z :(

I traded it in on an '03 Mazda B4000 4x4.

It was a hard decision...but I came out VERY far ahead financially. My note dropped, my interest rate dropped, my insurance dropped..and the total amount that I owe even dropped.

I'll miss the Z for sure...but it's the best thing for me at this point. I'm looking at so many other things now such as a dirt bike, and doing some elk hunting and the Z being a daily driver just wasn't going to work out.

But...on to bigger (and faster) things. My next project I'm thinking about a '66 Mustang with the running gear from a Fox body with a blown 351 based motor.

Sorry to see the Z go, but I figured it would before too long. Just doesn't seem practical up there for winter when you start getting snow storms and stuff. It would've been really hard to keep the Z clean and off the snow banks.
Nice truck though, now put a supercharger on it LOL.

No 'charger Carl. I've got a 4 year 50k mile warranty. This is a truck....it's just that. It's something to get me around. I'll probably end up putting a lift kit on it and some "31's" :D but other then that no mods. I'm not out of hot rodding...just put on a hold for a bit. I have to get a house, then I'll start my next project.

Ive thought about selling my car and getting out of the racing thing quit often.
I get frustrated with it and try to get rid of it. But when it actually comes down to selling i cant make myself do it :p
Nice truck Guff i hope you enjoy it.

You gotta do what you gotta do man....my car needs a lot of work right now, but I am focusing on getting it and some other bills paid off, so I probably won't be racing again for another year or so. Glad to hear you are happy with the truck though!

Yeah, it's a Ranger with a different grill. But I can see getting rid of the z and seeing much more of the area you're living in with the truck, not to mention the financial benefits.
