Machine shop???

I'm looking to get my heads milled out a tad so i can raise the comp. on my junk...anyone know of a decent shop for my pomof'n azz can get it done..

I wouldnt mind if they do ALL the work..bkuz i dont know how to set rockers..but i can sure as hell take'm off :D

There's Westside Performance, Houston Perfomance now has their own in house machine shop, Custom Automotive Machining, and G&G Performance in Tomball.

All of those are on the NW side of town.

any of them you personally suggest...I really would rather taken the car to a shop to do ALL the work, not really in the mood to rip apart the block..Jason said he would help me..but that worries me..he might try and keep my parts..

All of those places, except for Houston Perf, are just machine shops. They don't work on cars and pull them apart... The only pulling apart they do is if you show up with the whole motor, already out of the car.

Jim's Machine Shop in League City does all of my machine work. South Houston Motorsports can pull everything apart and take it to Jim's machine shop....since South Houston Motorsports is about 5mins from the machine shop. Both shops combined on building my motor.

Belt sander - to technical. We just lay them on the concrete garage floor and rub.

A head pulled down a paved( not gravel ) road 1 mile will remove .oo1 at 45 mhp ( that is good for cast heads only ) I got a rope if you need it.
