running for the cross town rivals, i was set to make at least 5 passes( 3 tnt, i elim and 1 x round). i arrive at the track and unload the car. after doing some light testing during the true street competition i was set to put it on kill for my first pass at sealy. sitting in the tech line the car became hard to start each time i had to move up. in the staging lanes for round one of time trials it is getting worse. finally, i do my burnout and pull up to the line. the the starter says shut them off . it looked like an oil down. wait ,no fluid start them up again. well , it wouldn't start. i had feared with the big injectors i might have this problem, but after driving it for the last year with no problems i did not think much about it. now i have to find a solution for my latest setback. again i have failed to record a good pass. i have owned this car for 6 years and have had ten second power for 4 of those years i have never made any kind of clean pass start to finish. all i can get is an 11.40 as my personal best. i have to wonder if it will ever run tens. on another note i think i will take it to the dyno later this week and try for 500 rw.

Should have introduced yourself - I was the big guy pushing your car back on the passenger side. Glad the motor wasn't hurt. I hurt it fart after / during the burn-out and was afraid you really broke.

thanks for the push. i wasn't in much of a talking mood after another wasted attempt. just something about dragging my pile from spring for less than one pass. i hit the limiter during the burnout . the car probably backfired it was dumping so much fuel . i can't hear anything once the helmet goes on. total shame .

Damn Joseph!

I can relate to that whole "not starting" issue from my attempt at True Street this past May.

Hang in there man. You'll get it sorted out.
