I upgraded from 98SE to XP (Home Edition) two days ago.

My computer has been runnning like a brand spanking new Commador 64 ever since!

Oh yeah, I have no audio either (can't seem to locate a compatible driver - ...maybe I have to buy it directly from Mr. Gates himself ??)


But never mind tyring to help out a brother PoMoFo, since there's no "PC HELP FOR DUMMIES FORUM" allowed on this site.

So all the above is just an F.Y.I. Don't even think about throwing me a frikkin' bone!

I feel your pain. I "upgraded" my old PC from Win98 to Win98SE hoping to make it run a little better…. And it knocked out all my networking and internet connection stuff. And now my wife…the new "ebay queen" ...has taken over the good PC since it is the only one working on the internet! :mad:

Oh well, That just makes we play on the PC more at work. :D

Most people say get the professional edition. Sean B. said he could hook me upwith Win2000 if my PC could handle it. I may just have to get a newer one.
