There Was aleast 6 Cars between them. This 2002 Camaro has a 377 cu motor 6.0 . He has from what i have heard over 10 grand invested in Car. You name it this cars has had it done. This car has Dynoed @ over 435 - 440 RWHP 475 ft Torq. Man thEsE Ls1'S ARE rEALLY WHAT STEVE CALLS THEM dYNO Queens. This car belongs to The old man that used to own the gold ls1.
Well he bought a new 2002 ls1, had mmt in dallas build this 377 CNC ported ls6 heads ect........... THis car is being sponsored by Nx and a few other paces in town. I mean this car was suppose to be the badest thing on the street. :LOL i guess not.

Not if he's only making 440...my car with a stock motor and a shot of gas makes more then that.

It seams like Ls1's can put down shit loads of number on the dyno but at the track it don't match up. Don't getme wrong i would have a vett in a heart beat , but i am a ford guy.

I haven't seen that myself. With a stock motor my car can run a high 11. Most of the LS1's that I know about that have dyno'd high seem to run equally impressive times. I'm not trying to get onto an LS1 bandwagon here...but those motors seem to constantly impress me.

I've seen several nearly stock LS1s capable or running LOW 12s or high 11s n/a. Buddy of mine has a A4 car with nearly no mods (lid, underdrive pulley, converter, SLP catback) that runs 8.0s (1/8th of course) on dunlops!

Well, irregardless of what the car *should* put down.....glad to hear about Whitney's win... I figured it woulda been a close race seeing how Whitney's got a 400-500lb advantage on him, yet down by 40 or so rwhp. Wouldn't have guessed he would have won by that much!
