I'm guessing FE has seen the 4-door 500+ c.i. Maverick before.
(one of the pics looks like I have green teeth - coulda been part of that delectable balogna sammich Ronda made for me though)

Chris,
Notice the size of the radiator in the brown Maverick (302 block). Looks bigger that what I thought I could fit in mine - /me holds on to my nice/big radiator a few weeks longer.
(the engine may have been moved back also, but not by THAT much ay??)

Mr. Book,
How did you manage to get in the pictures and have them posted on somebody else's site? Are you in cahoots w/somebody we don't know about?
The gold/brown 2-dr Mave looks as if a good portion of the core support has been removed and replaced by a fabbed drop out unit. The radiator, from what little I can tell by the pic, appears to be comparable in size to yours, being a crossflow design...
The very last picture, w/the WP drive and fan (?), sparked my interest. The radiator pictured there looks like it might be from an early model truck. Hmmm, that has me thinking...
[I'm in the same market for a radiator, as the Flane has similar proportions. I wonder if I can find some info on core sizes, etc? Let me take a peek at my catalogues...]

The pics were taken by the Texas Chapeter President of the Maverick/Comet Club International down from Austin. We cruised the pits and found a few mavs and rubbed elbows with 'the boys'.
The owner of the 4-door Mav (the one with "Green Teeth" sitting in his car) was super nice. Actually, they were all nice. They let me looky-see what they'd done to their Mavericks to give me some ideas on what I should/shouldn't do to mine.
My 1st want was to squeeze a 500+ BBF in it - but you see what all has to be done to achieve that (totally tubular doode). I'll just stay with the 347 for now (and stay alive).
