(Here comes the cheer-up part:) It was great to see everyone again and meet the newbies! And, now, the over-used locker room statement, "We'll get 'em NEXT time, team!"

Hmmm...that's actually not a bad idea....It'd look good in the winner's circle pic on LSR's page......especially with the For Sale sign 'coincidentally' displayed for all to see.

Although we sucked, (except for the senior most member of our group! THANKS RICK!!!) at least we didn't loose any ground!

Thanks to all that came out and hopefully next time we can have at least 10 cars out there!

not so - I just got lucky, AND, showed up in a slooooooow automatic. Just wait til I get the Maverick going - then I'll be back in form (redlight-Rick).

I don't know guys...I thought I did pretty good. I not only red lit the first round, but I also broke out by .3. I have no idea how the heck the slow little vert ran so much faster that round. Oh well. I lost my consolation race by .009 seconds running a 10.06 on my 10.05 dial standing on the brakes at the finish. Pure luck destroyed by the other guy having even better luck.

Next time I bring out the Rustang and see what kind of damage it can do.

LOL Kyle!

The 'force' not only was not WITHyou, I think it was AG'IN you also on that run! ('been there' - and prolly will again!).

Looking forward to seeing the rustang next month!

You weren't the only one that happened to. I ran back to back 8.19's durring time trials. Using that same 8.19 as my dial, I procede to go run a first round time of 8.09 there by breaking out. Then in the first first round of the consolation race, I ran a 8.20. Thats the kicker. I make 3 passes when it doesn't really count and my times stay within .01 of each other. But the only round it really counted, I am a full .10 faster.

/me still scratches head on that one.

/me is the newbie!

Was good meeting some of you..since I got out there so damn late lol!

Hopefully next month my car will be repaired and I can help PoMoFo out! I do have experience at getting into the CCB Winner's Circle at Sealy :).

* HoustonLX still scratches head on that one. Our race was sorta fun too. Missin gears cant be good for consistancy or wins, unless you have a lil red button and a near empty bottle. lol :fart: :hmm: :D

it was nice to finally get to meet all you guys out there. im just sorry that i couldnt get tha nova out there. just when i thought everything was good to go, the one thing that i feared jumped up and bit me in tha ass. i dont no if tha nova will be out there next month er not, it just depends on how soon i can pull up tha "scratch" ta fix her right..... :rolleyes:
