New best and Baseline

Well, I took the wife's 01 GT vert automatic out to the track Friday night. It was pretty hot and humid when I got there and the track was okay. I honestly had no idea what the car would run. I must say I was pleased. The car is completely stock, down to the tires, air filter and silencer. It has 23000 miles on the ticker and race weight is a portly 3750 lbs. I managed to get in 13 runs. Here is how it broke down.

Best ET was 14.44 @ 95.03 mph with a 2.11 60'.

Best 60' was a 2.11

Best mph was 96.01 mph

Overall the car was pretty quick. Might have to see if I can get it down to a 13.99! :D

Yeah, I was doing a bit of hot lapping. I only stopped to let myself get some air. It started getting hot in that helmet.

I convinced Momma to let me try it out with my skinnies and I got the OK to get some slicks. Unbelievable! I think she wants it to hit 13's too.
