Well I found out the coupe will not cut a good 60' on motor to save its life. Best I could get on motor tonight was a 1.91 60' and a 13.2@105. But all I can say is DAMN does the car like nitrous! On a 150 shot with the car running way hot (about 180) due to an alternator issue and having to keep the car running in the lanes, the car went 11.90@112 with the bottle probably going empty right at the end of the pass. I neary shit when the lady in the booth asked where my fire jacket was!

Here is the slip:
R/T .770
60' 1.708
330 4.863
1/8 7.552
MPH 90.93
1000 9.902
1/4 11.902
MPH 112.02

I think the convertor that I have in the car isn't the right one I can only footbrake the car to about 2200 or so, anything higher and it will push through the beams. The stall on the convertor is in the 2600-2800 range.

Its late, I'm happy and I'm going to bed! I'm now ready for 3-11 second passes at FFW!

:D

BTW the car was 3125 with me in it and all the interior and rollbar, the only thing out of the car is all the heater and AC stuff and it doesn't have power steering.

Not as light as I thought it would be but I can get it down below 3000 pretty easily if I totally gut the car.

congrats

I can see Brent picking up his timeslip. The blonde lady in the timeslip booth says "where is your fire-jacket". This phrase is heard by Brent as "you went 11's". Isn't the English language funny.

ha ha, congrats again! Now start saving for a different converter. Keep an eye out online, I'm sure you'll find something for a decent price. YOu get a looser converter, and I bet you'll see mid 12s on motor pretty easily. 104 is enough for at least a 12.80 and when you go with a looser converter, it'll pick up a bit of mph as well.
