Ran the car in the street wars last night.Car ran 8.0's at 85mph all night long. Not to bad considering that i'm shifting gears 800rpm early and running with a 3.20 rearend gear, never played with fuel pressure or timing either. Now it's time for a Tweecer and some 4.30's in the rearend and maybe this old green mule might actually run a decent time, then i'll throw about a 200hp hit of gas on it and it should boogie on down.:burnout:

Congrats Ray!
Got to talking with Ben today about your motor and I'm intrigued! Care to share any of the specs?

Sure,it's a 308cid flat top motor.I'm using Eagle 5.090" H-beams,with a .040 over SRP flat top,Holley aluminum heads matched to a 1262 on the intake, lots of bowl work on the heads.Shanes' old Holley intake witch was ported by TEA,30# injectors,80mm Pro-M air meter,Anderson Ford NA powerpipe,75mm throttle body,Anderson Ford N-71 camshaft (Hi-Rev series) etc. etc.
Car should run pretty well once I get a tweecer and some gears that will actually work for me instead of against me,it really doesn't start pulling good till 4000-4500rpm then as soon as you know it bam 6250 and stock rev limiter.:ashamed:

Nice Ray! You running a factory crank and block? Sounds like a nice combo. I've seen the AFM hi-rev cams in the magazines, but haven't run accross anyone actually running one. Real curious as to your dyno numbers and time slips. Please keep us posted!
See ya around!
