Yes folks, I am now OFFICIALLY a GeEk! Not in the same league as Ben, but for a techno-have-not, it's a whole new world!

Why yes, yes it is! Good eye! It's my twEECer/RT basis...now if I can score an RT!
Dropped the Cat5 to the garage today; life...is...good!

Eww stink pad! ;)
RT needs USB support, that one does have it, right? Looks kinda like an old model in the pic, but Idon't think IBM has done much changing of the external case in many years.
I needs me one too (RT and laptop ;)).

Does that tuning tool kit have a holley jet kit and a dwell meter?

The 'stink' pad is a couple of years old (it's a 600E; 450MHz, 10gig HD, DVD player (!), 256RAM, external floppy...), I would guess, but it does have USB capabilities (single connection). I've spoken with Mr. GLover about the RT, and I hope to get one of the second production batch units in August/Sept/Oct timeframe...Currently I have AutoCAD, Office, Adobe, etc. running fine on it...
Ken, the 'tuning' kit that you refer to is housed in the big gray box to the left of my new tuning tool. All things are he same, just the size and cost are different :D (amazing to me that it takes nearly $1000 worth of stuff to tweak a car now, vs. $50 in 'real' tools...).

Maybe we should pool our resources, eh Trevor?
I have an old Toshiba at work, but is old and slow (much like me, but more manageable :D)...I'll take a peek at it, and keep my eyes peeled for any more deals...

I have an old old Compaq Aero 4/33c that I was saving for a TwEECer, but then they made the new ones with USB, so I'm SOL on that now.

I've got an old IBM 760xd. You can find all the specifications here:
http://www5.pc.ibm.com/us/products.nsf/$wwwPartNumLookup/_9546U9E
Basically a 166Mhz with 32MB RAM, 2.85GB hard drive. I've still got a carrying bag for it, power plug, external floppy, internal CD rom, external mouse, and a couple other things. The battery I have for it is dead, I'm not sure if they are still available, you might check on ibm.com, but I'll look at work and see if I've got another good battery for it. We use the same computers at work, fact is I bought this one from work last year. I loaded Windows 98SE on it and haven't used it much since. It runs 98 good, but I think I tried to install Office 2000 and it didn't like it.
It does have the 9 pin connector in question (male type connector).
I guess make me an offer for it. I'd consider a trade for a good set of slicks, ET Drags, ET Streets, whatever you may have in almost new condition. I'd like a set of 28x9 ET Drags or 28x10 ET Streets.
I'll also entertain a trade for a big shot single nozzle fogger type nitrous system for my stang. One that is adjustable up to 200 shot.
I guess money wise, maybe $200 or so
