Well the Arkansas fairgounds opened up today for 1/8th mile racing . The first race a Pro street S-10 hit the wall and hit the cables that printed out et. slips. So I didn't get any slips but I guy in a souped up 5.0 L had his wife watched us and listened for our times from the tower. I ended up running a 7.77 @ 90 mph and he ended up smoking the tires really bad and running a 9.00 flat.
I never did get beat and I had a ton of guys approach me and ask about my lil modular Stang.

I'm really stoked about the runs because my car has been stuck in the low 8's for 3 years.

The mods that made me run faster than last year are as follows: P.a valvebody , skinny front tires , 275/60/15 Nitto drag radials with ss lowers( these hooked ten times better than my 245/50/16 Nittos with stock lowers), slotted blower pulley for no slip and welded up water jackets so I could run the larger 99 & up intake gaskets.

What do you guys think? Am I running pretty good for a old slow Eaton?

DONT GAUGE YOUR 1/8TH TIMES BY A 500FT TRACK!

Sorry, I absolutely HATE that place, unless they made it better since last year.

Edit: but good times anyway :D

Yeah its got to be the worst track in the world. You start off going downhill and end up going up hill.

They do let you run the full 1/8th on Saturdays as long as you line up in lanes 1 & 2.

How bout you Frank. Have you got the ole 1/2 ton moving this year? Any more mods planned?
