Clash of the Titans 3/29/03 at RCR now San Antonio Raceway!

Just another reminder post since the other seems to have faded away. The Clash of the Titans is coming up at San Antonio Raceway on March 29 2003. You can get info at www.theclashofthetitans.com

I'll be there, undecided whether I'm going to go for 12.00 index again or spray my way to the 11.00 index. I hope to go to HRP this Friday for some Test and Tune and practice on a Pro Tree light. I would go Sunday, but I don't believe they'll do a Pro Tree for you on Sundays, plus it looks like Rain this Sunday.

So who's there? Fred, you gonna make it? Ben?

If you haven't been, its a lot of fun. The True Street class is the slowest of all, with most other cars running sub 10s and some in the low 7s. I predict it may be possible to see a 6 second pass from Dan Millen or some other competitor this trip. When you're not racing, its a blast watching all the other cars go head to head!

Plus the best part, its only $30 to race!!!

Thanks for the heads up Carl! I don't know if you are aware, but if you have an event like this, feel free to post on the calendar. A few of us are learning to rely on it, and it's catching on slowly...

Troy (TxBandit) and I will be heading over together, FWIW. From what I understand, Tim Palmer's Cobra will not be competing in the hands of the new owner (just got his license), and Murillo is taking a break for a bit...

But, Glidden and Havemann will be there, I'm told...

I plan on going and riding up there with Carl (right Carl :D) ...I'm looking forward to seeing some serious racing! I'll be running the coupe at the COTT event in Baytown in June.
