It's a derned good thing I didn't werk on it; he did that while I was out coolecting cans on 35. I bet I culd've fixed it too...

You wanna lewt me try that thar 3550? I promose I won't use a hammer (weel, not a big one at least)...

You may need to take a hammer to the 3550. I noticed the d/s wobbling slightly and I could feel vibrations. They are gone now, which makes me think something is bent internally :(.

Also, the 3550 would have a horrendous shudder when taking off, and sometimes shifting gears. The t5 doesn't. Smooth as silk! I think whatever was wobbling was causing it to shudder.

I hope for your sake it's just a bad bearing or two. If you don't mind, let me get it as soon as convenient so I can start poking around inside of it...:hmm:
