That's right! The PSD pulled it off twice in a row today. The opponent was a Honda Prelude (roughly 94-95, not the newest generation).
This kid starts messing with me on the way to Sears Hardware, so I decide to see what the PSD has in her.
Race 1:
From a stop sign I lightly power brake not quite in boost and pull a car length or so to 80 mph when he proceeds to do a ricer fly-by and gives me the flashers.
Race 2:
I talk some crap at the next light about his fly-by and we go again. He bangs his beast off the rev-limiter as some sort of intimidation factor while I power brake the PSD to 2500 and bring it into boost. The light goes green and I get a little wheel spin and have him by two car lengths to 80.
We also did a roll from about 40 mph and it resulted in a dead heat.
I just thought it was hilarious that this cat thought it would be cool to show a 'big truck' what was up and he ended up getting smacked. His friends apparently thought it was real funny too, because there was a lot of laughing and pointing going on in that car. Something tells me he will be headed to Pep Boys and buying some lighted valve stem caps for a real performance gain, LOL!
