Just thought I would get a jump on this one and put it out there. I know a lot of you wanted to go to this last year but didn't make it. Don't miss it this year. This is a Kick Ass event! Unlike when running FFW True Street, I actually enjoy getting to the stands here and watching the cars run. All heads up racing, and not a whole lot of slow cars bracket racing!
It is at San Antonio Raceway (formerly called River City Raceway) on March 29. I'm sure most of us on this board would be competitive in the True Street class with the exception of Alex Aekrot who was running in one of the outlaw classes (or was it 10.5?) It was a blast, was only $30 to race and has a decent payout if you can make it. I was only one round from the money on my last race there (which happened to be my closest race ver). I ran a 55 Chevy Bellaire (can't run those at FFW). He went 12.004 and I went 11.999. In this class, its based on indexes and I was running the 12.00 index class, so unfortunately I broke out by .001!
