Ok guys, here it is yet again. The post that says when the next CCB is (or you can look at the PoMoFoCalendar) and asks for a show of hands on who will be there.

I dont see an advertised gate time on the LSR site, so I will need to find out.

Regardless, I will be there, with my 91 or not.

For those of you who have never been, come on out. It's a fun time, hanging out with fellow PoMoFo's and getting some racing in during the process.

Racing is $15, spectating is $10.

Hope to see you all out there!

DAMN! SPIT! and SNOT!

I hate to be the first to reply with a 'negatory', but I have a previous engagement (going to see comic Dave Chappelle).

Sorry, Maybe APRIL!

I will be there. More then likely only be in the cheering section for this event as my car will not be returned to "slow" status in time.

I will be there. I really hope to be racing this time! It depends on how the tranny repair goes over at Otis' House-O'-Scrap. ;)

Seriously, I do plan to be there and racing with the PoMoFo crew (for once!).

Well the tranny is done! (Thanks nay/otis!)

I just need to get it installed, which I will try to do this weekend.

Its brakcet racing. Houston area car clubs compete against each other for points which are used to calculate a season winner. You will get about three time trials in and then they start the race. After your first race and you win you keep going till you lose, if you lose in the first race you will go into the consolation race and run through that brakcet. Either way your almost garenteed to get about 5 runs in even if you lose and go out early. Its a lot of fun and we hope you can make it out there.

Gates open at 2 p.m. Time trials will probably get going around 2:45-3:00 p.m.

I just emailed LSR and asked, since they STILL have not announced a time on their website.

Kinda shitty, IMO, since people need the time to know how to plan for/around it.

I asked if we could get them to publish the time on the schedule for the following ccb's also, for planning issues.

I'll post when I get a reply (if I do!)

Shane, are you sure about that? Just curious from Fred's post.

Go to www.lonestarraceway.com. It says gates open at 2 p.m. on the front page.

Edit: It DID say 2 p.m. But now, the front web page has changed and I don't see a time mentioned. Keep an eye out to this thread for a confirmation.

I just went to the site for the third time tonight, and see NOTHING regarding time for the CCB this Saturday, March 1.

Fred, fellow pomofos, I won't be making it.

I am getting over a cold and I know that if I go and stand out in the cold for hours, I'll be even sicker!
Besides, it may be raining tomorrow.

Sorry guys :(.

That sucks to hear Rus. However, I've yet to see anything saying there's a chance of rain tomorrow. It's supposed to be in the high 60's though.

TTT, I still plan on going. So far, it looks like it's just Brent, myself, and maybe Ben. Another dismal turnout for PoMoFo? Guess tomorrow will tell.

Hello all pomofo's I have been to one CCB with a couple of the regulars, Rick and Shane. I wasn't able to race that night due to having my daughter with me. I want to race this weekend for pomofo. I usually come up from wharton and stop at the gas station before getting on I-10. If the gates open at 2, I 'll be there aroun 2:30 or so. Let me know whenre when to meet up.

We'll be there Kevin! We'll be pitted where we usually are, at the fence right past the stands. I hope to be there right at 2.

See ya tomorrow.

Cool, thanks Fred. I may have more than one vehicle. My step daughter and her b- friend may be with us. They ( he) probably won't run but we'll all be there. Gonna log off now to call them and set up the times.
