Ben, whats the condition of the shortblock? I assume this is the one out of your car. How many miles, how do the cylinders look? Any blowby? Reason asking is for my cousin Tommy. We've got a line on a 40k mile stock longblock for $400. If yours is in just as good a condition and you can throw in some E7 heads, we'll take it. Let me know. Call me today on my cell phone and I may be able to come get it today if its ready! 281-804-3168.
Oops, sorry didn't catch that you are still running it. If we don't get the other motor before then, maybe we'll take yours. He wants to get it this week and get it in the car and ready to go to CCB next week, so we'll see.

Yup it's the one that's in my car. It's got 54k miles on it. I don't have any E7 heads for it.

Shit, it wont take long to pull. The biggest mess will be draining the fluids.

Well, I guess Ray might have beat me to the punch unless you wanna take whoever puts money in your hand first. If you want money in hand, I'll bring it to the CCB. Our deal fell through on the other motor we had lined up, guy decided to keep it. Now we are in desperate need for another motor.
Let me know.

I don't wanna cause any hard feelings,I have the money right now and all but don't wanna cause any hard feelings as stated.I just built a motor and put it in a coupe and my own brother decided to flop on me and whip out his title and demand the car back.I need the motor to make a daily driver out of my old green car until I can get the funds up for another ride.I'll be there saturday and if it's already sold then it's already sold,i'll still help pull it and all,i'm just that nice of a guy.

i have a motor i will sell someone. 93 model shortblock with 36000 miles. the previous owner said it has a little blowby, but otherwise ran great. he had a blower on it. make me an offer. i also have some e7's that i want to sell.

If Carl gets Ben's motor I would definitley be interested in the shortblock.I don't need heads I have two sets of aluminum heads already, don't need those E7's,but i'll still buy em cheap.$250 bucks?

I'm not tryin to step on you rsnow. My cousin has been without his 85 GT for nearly two years because of bad deals on motors he's bought and put in. He just can't get it right, buys a rebuilt motor and it wasn't put together right and blows up. Thats why we're looking for a stocker that he won't have to rebuild. If Joseph will sell his for the same price as Ben's, then great one of us takes one, one the other. I was just throwing the money thing out there because I've seen it happen before where someone would call dibs on something when another person wanted it. If you have an item for sale and many people want it, the only safe way to sell it is to whoever puts money in the hand first. At least thats my opinion. I've been snaked out of a couple of deals on some long tube headers for this very reason, someone put money in the guys hand before me, I don't like it, but I understand it from a sellers point of view. You want the stuff gone and need the money for other stuff.
So that said, its Ben and Joseph's decision. I don't really care, just trying to get my cousin something put together so he can enjoy the mustang he bought over two years ago. The car went to the track once with the motor it had when he bought it. We drove it on the street a few times for some street racing, but other than that he's had to ride around with me feelin bad because his car doesn't run.
Oh and if the year motor doesn't matter to you, I'd prefer Ben's motor because its got the forged pistons. If you're just throwing one in there to get around and don't plan on putting a blower or nitrous on it, then the 93 will work for ya. Tommy wants to spray his car eventually.

you guys work it out. i am all for whoever puts money in my hand first. the motor i have is an assembled shortblock with oil pump and pickup. no cam , timing chain, or front cover . i bought it as a spare and now i don't think i will use it anytime soon. the original owner replaced it with a built b50 based motor . i will take $200 for it.

Well, like I said I'd prefer Ben's forged motor for my cousin's car, but I won't be picky if you want it rsnow (Ray isn't it, forgot the name). I'll have the money at the CCB and if need be can come help pull it out of the car. My cousin may be with me.
Ben, just be nice to it at the CCB, don't put the other pulley on the car!
Joseph, if you have a set of E7s, we might like to get those off of you.

I'll definitely have the small pulley on at the CCB and shifting low to get the stress level down.
