I just talked to Steve Bower with MMFF magazine. He was taking pictures at the awards ceremony for True Street and got my information to maybe do a small article. I gave him some more info about my car today and he also asked who the tall guy in the POMOFO Shirt was that also received an award. Well of course it was Ben Frasier. They got a pic of Ben receiving the award for Robert Hall.
Ben, I hope you don't mind, but I gave him some of your information, your web address, the address to this site and westsidmustangs, as well as your usernames on those sites. Told him a little about how you converted your car, etc... He may be in contact with you.
He said the FFW Houston event will most likely be in the September issue of the magazine. (damn thats a long time to wait).

Cool! Thanks Carl.

I've been trying to get my car in there for a couple of years now and even have some nice quality pics to send in. I emailed Evan Smith and Jim Campisano at MM&FF and got no reply from them.

Hopefully Steve will have an interest in some of my pics.

Hey, I want honorable mention for getting your name out there to Steve!

Steve, BTW we here at PoMoFo Racing and Westside Mustangs (as most of us our members of both car clubs here in Houston) place quite a few cars in the top 25 of True Street.
Brian Warwas (Westside Mustangs)
Fred Bingham (Westside and POMOFO founder) (blue91)
Carl Smith (WEstside and PoMoFo)
and I'm sure there are a couple I've left out. How about doing an article about Houston Car Clubs?

*sniff* I would have made the top 25 if my car didn't want to take such a close look at the wall...

LOL! Rick's worse than the backpacking dude that was on top of the Towers...and the moon, and with JFK, and...

In fact, I just spotted him at a Dairy Queen on Bellfort! He's everywhere!

Thanks for stopping by Steve! Ben's a heck of a nice guy, and big to boot! I usually stick close to him for 'cover', LOL!
