It's hard to have just *one* dream car, especially since I really dig vintage. In some small way, my coupe, once it's done, will be my dream come true car. A nifty lil hot rod that I helped build. :)

For the chudrens on this board, "Dyno" Don Nicholson was the John Force of the 60's and 70's - mostly a Ford man (although he DID put a Ford 409 c.i. 409 h.p. in an early '60's Chevrolet Belair). "Dyno" won more than 90% of his races.

Here's one of his more famous rides - a '64 Comet up against one of his rivals, Arnie "Farmer" Beswick, driving a '63 Pontiac Tempest.

Chris, my dad bought me a 1972 Hurst Olds Indy 500 Pace car with a 455c.i. (W package - h.p. unknown) to have as long as I went to a certain bible-carrying college (Louisiana Baptist College). For a very long time, a black on black GT was my dream car. I still wouldn't mind one... very snazzy lookin' ride.

My dream car is a 1968 Shelby GT 500 KR and/or a GT 350 and of course a '01 Cobra!

Shelby's are just so damned SESSSSSY to me. :) I'll take mine as a 67, GT350 or GT350H preferably white with blue stripes or black with gold stripes.

I've always wanted one of these and someday I will own one. 1989 Saleen SSC. Only 162 were built and it was the first Saleen to have actual performance mods done to it outside of suspension. This is probably one of the most affordable "Dream Cars" for me.
