Its that time again. Next Sat Nov 2 is yet another CCB at Lone Star Raceway is Sealy, TX. Gates open at noon and time trials will start around 12:30 p.m. I want to see all you Houstonians at this event. We are currently 5th out of like 16 clubs. Lets do what we can to hang on to that position.
My new valve springs should be in here in the next day or two and I will hopefully have my car back together in time for the event.

I'm planning to do my trans/header swap that weekend. If not, I'll be there to watch.

So far, the weather looks fantastic for this coming weekend. They are saying nice cool dry air. But then again, the weather men are the only people I know who can always do a half ass job and still keep their job. :D

Looks like I am the PoMoFo'est for this event. My new valve springs came in, but I simply don't have enough cash to get the car back together AND go racing Saturday unless a miracle happens between now and then. Good luck to everyone and please take out a few cars for me. :ashamed:

If you guys want to meet up and caravan out, that sounds good. However, where? I know some of us can meet at 249 and the Beltway, as we're coming from the northside.
After that, where should we meet along I-10 to meet with the west side folks? Hwy 6 and I-10 area?
Throw out ideas folks! :-)

due to unforseen happenings that were totally out of my control, i may not be able to go out there this weekend (damn tranny gave out fer some reason). if i can figure out whats wrong with it and get it fixed by then, ill prolly go.
as fer meeting up with us westsiders, theres a jack in tha box at highway 6 and I-10. this way we can eat cheap, and head on out. just a thought....

Well... the gates open at noon...
So... 10:45 at 249 @ Beltway 8? And from there we can meet whoever else/pick up others along the way?
What do you guys think?

Come race with MCOH and RedDoorRacing and I will tune your carb for you.
Oops I' sorry. I guess it's bad form to poach ccb particiapants of their own board.
I'll be waiting at HWY 6 @ I-10 (jack in da box) @11:00(south side of I-10):)

well gang, i'm going to have to pass on the ccb. My truck is burried up to the axle from trying to get my trailer out of the back yard.
So while you guys are racing I'll be digging through mud trying to get my truck unstuck.
Sometimes living in the country sucks.

As soft as the back part of my yard it, I know that would get stuck too.
I had to go and buy a tow rope and a come-along. I eventually got both the truck and the trailer unstuck and have since moved the trailer closer to the driverway so I don't have to put up with this crap again!
