Fire Jacket??

Does anyone know of a place where I can pick up a fire jacket? It does'nt need to be fancy or simpsons. Just something to get me through tech. 250 bucks is pretty steep for something you wear 10 (cough cough cough nine cough cough) seconds at a time

RCI multi-layer firejackets are like $150 from SummitRacing.com - they may sell them at places like Dallas Mustang Parts.

Yeah, check out a Summit Catalog. They have them in there. The G-Force brand (from Jegs I "think") is a good low cost brand as well. If you plan on going 9's, then yes you need the multi-layer jacket. If you go 10.00 or slower, a single layer is fine (and cooler).

Btw, I still haven't had a chance to send this gage and decals to you, but I promise they will get there.

If you happen to go 9's, be prepared to not only need a fire jacket. You will also need SFI gloves and pants LOL.

I was gonna say, the 6 pt cage wouldn't work for 9s either... :)
