We've regained 5th place!

Now, we're not THAT far away from HSRA.... Let's shoot for em and set our goals at not only top 5 this season, but top 4!

forgive my ignorance, but how does scoring work? 10pts per win?

I don't know the points awarded, but you get points for number of total cars entered into the race, number of cars that win a round in the regular race, points for winner and runner up in the finals, and also points for winner of the consolation round. I think there might be points for PowderPuff and Prez Races winners too.

They have also put in some kind of formula to try to keep it even so that more points are given to a club that is less popular (like us) than a club with more cars (like WSM or FBody).

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Its ment to allow the smaller clubs to have a chance. But in the end, the larger clubs are normally on top.

I'm not a pro on this subject...as a matter of fact I think you need a James Bond decoder ring to understand the points system...but
1. You do not get points for the # of total cars
2. "extra" races such as the powder puff and prez race does not give any points towards the season. The prez race only provides $50 towards the winning club...but no points in the CCB
