Well after not getting home till about 1 from last nights CCB, I need to post that the next CCB will be next Saturday and will be a make up for one of the ones that was rained out. Gates open at 5 with lanes opening about 6. We did well last night but we need to try and get a few more cars out there since I know some of us can't afford to race 3 weekends in October.
So if your available and want to run please come out and help support POMOFOracing!
Hope to see ya'll out there!

If everything goes right on the rebuild of my T5, I "should" have it reinstalled in the Stang and still be able to make Sat's CCB. I have to make up for last weekends poor showing on my part. This is startinbg to get frustrating. I know I am a better bracket racer then I have been doing. All I need to do is get all my ducks in order and get back the confidense I once had.

I'm not going to make it out either ... Instead, I'll be installing some shiny new long tube Hooker headers on the Formula, and passing off my shiny old MAC headers to Guff ... :D I can't wait, these things are sweet !!!
Kick ass and take names guys, don't let HSRA sneak the lead !!

I got the T5back in the car and everything checks out fine NOW. Turned out the problem was in the shifter stops. I had never readjusted the shifter stops after having the T5 rebuilt several months ago. Funny I never had a problem with it wanting to jump out of first gear till now. Atleast all seems good and I will be making the trip to Sealy Sat.

Welp PMFR was in true form again at the CCB. Turn out was on the low side as many people had things going on which kept them from making it out. Total count was 4 car (myself, Brent, Rick, and a 4th person we recruited at the track). All four of us won the first round and then went on to lose in the second round LOL!
The only good part about the night for me was I cut a new personnal best 60' on the DR's and a new best 1/8. On some seriously bald BFG DR's, I cut a 1.70 60' and ran a 7.88 at 86 mph. I don't think there is much left in the tires though. I was having to do loooong burn outs just to get them to smoke towards the end of the night and my 60's started really going away.

Hey Shawn, just wanted to say that it was great to finally put some faces to the BBS names.:D
I had a good time, as always at Sealy, and hope to make it out there next time and race for team pmfr!
Going to have to take the '91 to the track as soon as I get some minor details ironed out, and see just how consistant it and I can be. Later,
Kevin D.

I see your almost as bad with names as I am Kevin :D . Just so you know, its "Shane". But its ok. I have been called Shawn more times in my life then I care to count. Hell, half the time I even respond to it.
BTW: Nice meeting you as well.
