Well, my buddy Donnie called me a couple weeks ago telling me he had setup to get the NHRA inspector out this passed weekend. I took my car and had him touch up some welds and then painted them over. I was a bit worried about my crossbar behind the drivers seat being too low and a couple of other bars not being the right diameter, so I called coach at C&T and asked him about them. His advice was leave the seat out and the carpet in and all trim in. Without the seat in you can't tell how low the cross bar is. The bars I was worried about for diameter are really extra bars and aren't required since I have stock floor pans and stock firewall (the door rocker panel bars and the under dash cross bar).
I still need to get my window net hardware and get some tabs welded on for that. Also going to make a new mount for my seat and make a bracket that attaches it to the cage. Other than that, the car is legal for 9s. I hope to make some license passes in February or March.
