Well maybe. Waiting on the pushrods to show up. Hope to see 650hp this time. Added a Vacuum pump, 1.7 shaft rockers, head flow up from 314 to 325cfm and gonna run Q-16. Made 607 last time out without all the stuff listed above. They did find my flexplate was cracked. Glad I didnt find that out at the topend turning 8000+rpms. :jaw: Glad I invested in a JW Ultra bell many years ago. So even if its dynoed on Saturday it wont go in until next weekend.

Good luck man, hopefully it will hit the numbers you're wanting and then some. There's a 6.00 index at Evadale on May 14th, hurry up and drop it in the car and bring it out. I hope to be there, but ya never know with me at this point. House remodeling is a PITA and I have a contractor doing most of the work LOL.

Dyno is on. Got 5 Gallons of C-14 and 5 Gallons of Q-16. Gonna see if the Q-16 is worth the extra hassle and cost.

Will post dyno sheets in a second.
638 with Sunnoco 110
649 with C-14
668 with Q-16
Had to jet up 4 jet sizes with the Q-16. The water filter was clogged a little on the C-14 and caused surging, so one of the numbers was reading a little higher, but I think the 649 was more accurate.

1.91hp per ci, not bad for a street headed motor. Dont ask the total ammount I have in work on these heads. :(

Nice numbers Rex! What does the Q16 go for per gallon? I know that the last time I bought c16 about 9 months ago it was $12 per gallon. All those numbers are with a ported super victor and a Bigs 950 right?

I got it from HOPS Propane in Santa Fe for $13 and its the cheapest in the area. Will probably by a drum of it. Yes TW Heads, Super Victor and BIGS 950 Stage 7.

Man, 30 horsepower from fuel is pretty nice! But man, $13 a gallon, ouch! I think I pay around $8.50 for 114 octane traktech.

Its probably more like 20hp, but I use the same timing on both the C-14 and Q-16. So if I money becomes tight and I go back to TT118 or C-14 I just have to jet back down 4 jet sizes. But its only an extra $20 for 5 gallons. At this point thats not really that big of a deal and if makes me more competitive in the 6.20 index thats even better.
